HUMAN RESOURCES INTERNSHIP

GENERAL PURPOSE
Learn basic HR functions by assisting with a wide range of projects and performing administrative duties to support Human Resources.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

· Research, develop, and recommend procedures to integrate social technologies in recruitment, development, and engagement.

· Create and maintain company and department organizational charts.

· Assist Human Resources department with organizing and maintaining personnel files and other HR records.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

· Intermediate knowledge of computer software to include Word and Excel.

· Ability to successfully communicate with a variety of individuals internally and externally.

· Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.

· Solid working knowledge of all general human resource functions, highly desired.

Education or Formal Training:

  • Current or recent enrollment in a graduate or undergraduate degree program with an interest and aptitude to work in Human Resources.

Experience:

  • General administrative office experience required; Human Resources experience highly preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Word and Excel software programs.
  • Basic knowledge of HRIS and Payroll software highly preferred.

PRODUCTION ARTIST INTERNSHIP

HOURS: 29 HOURS PER WEEK (MAXIMUM)

REPORTS TO: PROJECT MANAGER, INTERACTIVE MEDIA

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist other designers with maintaining consistent company branding across various digital platforms.
· Work with various internal departments to create requested online campaigns, web banners, social media, etc.
 
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
· Background / classroom experience in foundational design principles.
· Ability to work under tight deadlines with great attention to detail.
· Possess creative problem-solving skills for visual design and proficiency in typography.
· Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
· Work samples.

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
· Knowledge of current design trends.
· Experience with responsive design.

RESEARCH INTERN

Outdoor Sportsman Group


Position: Research Intern

Hours: 20-29 hours a week ~ 3 months

Term: Summer 2016 (May- August)

Reports to: VP, Insight & Analytics

OVERVIEW

The Research and Analytics Intern will learn and assist with various media research initiatives for the Outdoor Sportsman Group.  This internship will provide an opportunity for exposure to television audience ratings, reality programming, digital analytics and knowledge of television industry. 

 

MINIMUM RESPONSIBILITES:

·         Study competitive TV program landscape.

·         Learn to run software for marketing research tools such as Nielsen, Google Analytics and Comscore.

·         Report administration and analysis.

·         Conducts online research.

·         Research data entry into Excel Spreadsheets.

·         Works with various departments to meet basic functional needs.

·         Creates and manages databases, graphs, and tables in Excel.

·         Provides administrative support to the Research department, as needed.

·         Performs other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Requires zero (0) to one (1) years of progressively responsible experience in an office environment in an administrative support capacity.

·         Required proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/Word & PowerPoint.

·         Strong Excel skills preferred.

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·         Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.

·         Ability to work in fast paced environment with multiple departments and multiple companies.

·         Ability to work independently.

·         Willingness to learn and contribute to team goals

·         Strong professional presence.

·         High school diploma required.

·         Current college looking for college credit is preferred.
