Kroenke Sports & Entertainment is the home of the Denver Nuggets (NBA), Colorado Avalanche (NHL), Colorado Mammoth (NLL), Colorado Rapids (MLS), and NDP Lacrosse. We also manage the day-to-day operations of Pepsi Center, Dick's Sporting Goods Park, Paramount Theatre, and 1STBANK Center. OVERVIEW:
The Community Relations and Fan Development Internship provides an opportunity for a student to learn and assist with various events and community activities for the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rapids and Colorado Mammoth. This internship position will specifically focus on the school appearances, fundraising events, sports clinics and game night activities.
 
MINIMUM RESPONSIBILITES:
· Assist the Community Relations department in partnership with the various leagues to execute and plan league initiatives and community events.
· Attend and participate in meetings with various company departments including Game Entertainment, Ticket Sales, and Event Operations.
· Execute specific projects as assigned with the ability of working independently and efficiently.
· Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
· Ability to provide workers’ compensation and general liability insurance from the university sponsoring internship experience.
· Ability to work in face paced environment with multiple departments and multiple companies.

OVERVIEW:
The Partnership Marketing & Media Sales department is responsible for bringing in new sponsors and retaining current clients of the properties that are housed in the Pepsi Center. Intern will learn what goes into a successful relationship with corporate sponsors of the Pepsi Center, Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Mammoth and Colorado Rapids. This will be done through research, in-market and in-game promotions, special events, marketing, game day operations and outstanding client service.
 
MINIMUM RESPONSIBILITES:
· Direct Pepsi Center All-Access tours
· Direct various consumer giveaway/promotions
· Assist in setting up VIP Nights for sponsor events
· Assist with planning and implementing corporate sponsor events
· Assist Game Operations with entertainment and game night events
· Compile element books for account executives to use when presenting to current and prospective sponsors
· Assist the account teams in creating recaps to show sponsors what they received in their package the previous season
· Assist the account teams in compiling recaps
· Research sponsors and prospective clients
· Put together proposals for account teams to use for prospective clients

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM RESPONSIBILITES:
· Help on game nights with logging & cutting game highlights for use in Avalanche, Nuggets, Mammoth and Rapids programming.
· Act as production assistant on shoots at various locations at the Pepsi Center, Dick’s Sporting Goods Park and around Denver.
· Roughly 15-20 hours a week, including nights and weekends, some hours at Pepsi Center and/or Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, many at the Network Operations Center .
· Training on various broadcast level equipment in technical center and in the field.
· General duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Excellent communication skills
· Prefer Television Production, Broadcast, Technical Communications, or similar major
· Interest in sports television and knowledge of local sports teams.
· Must be available to work nights and weekends.
· Strong interest assisting Videographers and Producers with production of Altitude weekly and
game shows.
· Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid Colorado driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards preferred.

TEAM MARKETING INTERNSHIP

The Team Marketing Intern will learn and assist with various marketing and promotion initiatives for the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, and Colorado Mammoth. This internship position will specifically focus on the topic of branding, advertising, promotional campaigns, ticket sales and related events.

· Weekly research and reports on other NBA, NHL, and NLL teams to keep our department current in the market.
· Attend and participate in meetings with various company departments including Game Entertainment, Broadcast, Ticket Sales, and Event Operations.
· Execute specific projects and promotions as assigned with the ability of working independently and efficiently.
· Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist in problem solving, data collection and collateral support.
· Assist in pre-game, post-game and game night sales event assets.
· Assist in sales prospecting as well as setting up sales appointments for Account Executives.
· Assist Account Executives in order taking, building and processing for game night preparation.
· Logging data entry into word processing, or spreadsheet programs, CRM, etc.
· Assist Sales Coordinator in sales event coordination (GM Lunches, draft party, renewal events, open houses, etc.)
· Assist in filling donation requests.
· Other responsibilities as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Adequate knowledge and skill to successfully log, organize and present information.
· Ability to multi-task and priority management.
· Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word Processing, Excel and Outlook.
· Some College or University coursework completed.
· Experienced in Veretix ticketing system and Microsoft CRM preferred.
· Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid Colorado driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards preferred.
