Kroenke Sports & Entertainment is the home of the Denver Nuggets (NBA), Colorado Avalanche (NHL), Colorado Mammoth (NLL), Colorado Rapids (MLS), and NDP Lacrosse. We also manage the day-to-day operations of Pepsi Center, Dick's Sporting Goods Park, Paramount Theatre, and 1STBANK Center. EQUIPMENT INTERN, COLORADO RAPIDS

HOURS: 20-29 HOURS PER WEEK, FLEXIBLE

TERM: FALL (SEPTEMBER-DECEMBER)

REPORTS TO: EQUIPMENT MANAGER, COLORADO RAPIDS

MINIMUM RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist with the coordination of all aspects of daily training sessions with the Equipment Coordinator and Equipment Manager, including the set-up, in-training manipulation and removal of all training equipment and gear for all home trainings.
· Assist the Grounds Crew, Equipment Coordinator and DSGP personnel on the implementation of large scale equipment used for training (Backstop nets, Goals, Equipment Shed etc.)
· Assist with the daily operation within the equipment room, including inventorying, storing, printing and distributing training and game gear for players, coaches and staff for both daily trainings and weekly games.
· Assist with the upkeep of the locker room including, distributing, collecting, washing and re-distributing gear for players, coaches and staff on a daily basis.
· Assist with the daily upkeep of auxiliary locker room areas including bathrooms, boot room, coaches’ locker room and storage areas.
· Help coordinate the set-up, in-game, and clean-up aspects of home game days.
· Assist the Equipment Coordinator as a liaison for visiting teams during their trips to Denver including trainings (when necessary) and the visiting equipment manager’s game day set up, in-game operation and clean-up.
· Of primary concern, is to maintain a professional demeanor with coaches, players and staff at all times.
· Other responsibilities as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Basic knowledge of soccer is required.
· Skill in both verbal and written communication.
· Organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
· Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word Processing, Excel and Outlook.
· Some College or University coursework completed.
· Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid Colorado driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards preferred.
