Kroenke Sports & Entertainment is the home of the Denver Nuggets (NBA), Colorado Avalanche (NHL), Colorado Mammoth (NLL), Colorado Rapids (MLS), and NDP Lacrosse. We also manage the day-to-day operations of Pepsi Center, Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, Paramount Theatre, and 1STBANK Center. GUEST RELATIONS INTERN

HOURS: 20-29 HOURS PER WEEK, FLEXIBLE

TERM: SUMMER (MAY – AUGUST)

OVERVIEW:
The Guest Relations Internship provides an opportunity to learn about the planning, execution, and implementation of guest services at Pepsi Center and Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. Interns will participate in the day-to-day operations of the Guest Relations department, assist with various departmental game and event night responsibilities and initiatives, and learn how to effectively manage and train guest services staff. The ideal intern should have strong communication skills, possess a desire to learn about conflict resolution and event management, and be available some nights and weekends.

MINIMUM RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist with Guest Relations training.
· Produce monthly staff newsletter.
· Shadow Manager on Duty during events including Guest Relations and other Arena Operations departments.
· Assist with office duties to include checking voicemails, updating weekly call time recordings, entering feedback forms, compiling and mailing guest fan packs, and responding to guest emails.
· Conduct research and create presentations for proposed program initiatives.
· Assist with planning and organization of KSE STARS Committee Parties.
· Compile KSE STARS Employee of the Month packets and update Employee of the Month board.
· Attend weekly Arena Operations and Event meetings.· Manage sporting events including preparation of pre-event materials, assigning staff positions, taking calls and being point of contact during event, and preparing post event budget.
· Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word Processing, Excel, Outlook and Publisher
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple departments and multiple companies
· Ability to provide workers’ compensation and general liability insurance from the university sponsoring internship experience
· Ability to work independently
· Strong professional presence
· Willingness to learn and contribute to team goals
· Available to work some nights and weekends
· Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid Colorado driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards, preferred.
 

TEAM MARKETING INTERN

OVERVIEW:
The Team Marketing internship provides an opportunity learn and assist with various marketing and promotion initiatives for the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, and Colorado Mammoth. This internship position will specifically focus on the topic of branding, advertising, promotional campaigns, ticket sales, and other related events.

MINIMUM RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Plan, coordinate, and execute various in-market promotional events on behalf of the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, and Colorado Mammoth
         o Events will include but are not limited to:
                § Branding
                § Festivals, Parades, etc.
                § Camps
                § Community Relations events
                § In-arena season ticket activations
· Light office work to include event preparation, and post-event evaluation and feedback
· Engage with fans to strengthen all three brands and provide sufficient data capture
· Execute specific projects and promotions as assigned with the ability of working independently and efficiently.
· Other duties as assigned

TEAM SALES INTERN, DENVER NUGGETS

HOURS: 20-29 HOURS PER WEEK, FLEXIBLE

TERM: SUMMER (MAY- AUGUST)

REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR, TICKET SALES, DENVER NUGGETS

RESUME DEADLINE: APRIL 27, 2015

MINIMUM RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist in problem solving, data collection and collateral support.
· Assist in sales prospecting as well as setting up sales appointments for Account Executives.
· Assist Account Executives in order taking, building and processing for game night preparation.
· Logging data entry into word processing, or spreadsheet programs, CRM, etc.
· Assist Sales Coordinator in sales event coordination (GM Lunches, draft party, renewal events,
open houses, etc.)
· Assist in filling donation requests.
· Other responsibilities as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Adequate knowledge and skill to successfully log, organize and present information.
· Ability to multi-task and priority management.
· Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word Processing, Excel and Outlook.
· Some College or University coursework completed.
· Experienced in Veretix ticketing system and Microsoft CRM preferred.
· Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid Colorado driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards preferred.
