SECURITY AGENT (KSE VENUES)

REPORTS TO: MANAGER, 24 HOUR SECURITY

DEPARTMENT: 24 HOUR SECURITY

GENERAL PURPOSE
The Security Agent reports to the Shift Supervisor. Is responsible for facility security, traffic control, parking lot security; fire, safety and emergency procedures. Provides initial investigation and documentation regarding incidents including building damage or injury to patrons or employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES
  • Evaluate existing policies and procedures and make recommendations for improvements and safety awareness.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with police, fire, EMS, and other security personnel and/or safety organizations.
  • Participates in internal and external training programs for regular and part-time employees.
  • Performs functions as directed to establish a safe and efficient environment for hosting facility events.
  • Patrols all KSE venues and their respective grounds; reports all safety and/ or security concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Performs emergency response to fire alarms, evacuations, and other situations; trains, and maintains proficiency regarding emergency response.
OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Investigates, reports, and provides follow-up on incidents including, but not limited to, building damage, criminal activity and policy/procedure violations.
  • Handles complaints, disturbances or related problems with the public, staff or promoters.
  • Provides logistical support of vehicles and freight for multiple vendors and events.
  • Provides customer service to guests and employees of the facility.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
  • Ability to establish and maintain efficient working relationships with lessees, employees, patrons, and support organizations.
  • Ability to exercise proper action and attitude in handling incidents and demands of the entertainment environment.
  • Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of general security functions and arena facility operations highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of CCTV and Access control systems.
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret written and verbal instructions and reports.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule to include any shift (day, swing or grave), holidays, weekends and evenings/nights as needed at all KSE operated venues.

MARKETING MANAGER - COLORADO RAPIDS

MINIMUM POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manages marketing, promotions, media and advertising plans, branding while supporting the overall sales vision for the Colorado Rapids.
  • Provides strategic media planning, promotional media weight, rate negotiation and media placement, as needed.
  • Assists with development of in-house marketing initiatives / programs, and helps create and execute strategy for reaching all publics (season ticket holders, non-sports mainstream/feature writers, specialized entertainment and business press, etc.); consults with management regarding corporate goals, communication themes and perceptions; develops/cultivates database for press contacts; identifies and promotes stories to the press; assists in the development/production of new interactive initiatives, etc.
  • Writes copy for collateral, radio, TV and print ads on a weekly basis and handles the insertion of all media throughout the season.
  • Works closely with the KSE Creative department to develop all internal and external campaign collateral and sales plans.
  • Helps direct and support the development of team internet/marketing presence, including use of most social marketing platforms – Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, LikeMe, YouTube, etc. Develops and executes viral campaigns that yield revenue, data capture and brand exposure working closely with the Rapids Digital Media team and Director.
  • Directs the development of future marketing campaigns as needed.
  • Responsible for all promotional activity related to single game promotions.
  • Works closely with Community Relations and Fan Development to help promote and/or secure media partners for fundraising events and activities, as needed, and executes Fan Development initiatives.
  • Manages media buyer relationships and invoices, and posting process.
  • Manages and maintains the Rapids Media/Marketing Budget.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent written and verbal skills (a portfolio of writing samples to include advertising copy and press materials is required).
  • Ability to speak to the public and media in a professional, confident manner.
  • Skill in word processing and spreadsheet programs (MS Word and Excel preferred), and media buying software/knowledge.
  • Knowledge of budget planning and monitoring.
  • Minimum four years experience to include media planning and placement, publicity, promotion, established media contacts, public speaking, writing ad copy and press materials, budget planning and monitoring, promotional and event execution experience, internet marketing knowledge, ad campaign creation and execution.
  • Must have a strong media and advertising network and contacts to successfully leverage with experience in the marketing channel that will increase media budgets without increasing investment.
  • Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid Colorado driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of both education and experience.

PREFRERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of sports marketing and entertainment business.
  • Basic knowledge of image software photo shop and html / basic web technologies.\
  • Bachelor’s degree - Major in communications, public relations or marketing.
  • Experience as a Marketing and Promotions Coordinator or Manager.

GENERAL PURPOSE

As part of the Rapids Media Group the Content and Broadcasting Manager will serve as the creative coordinator of all content creation for Broadcasting and Digital Platforms (website, social media, and external communication).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
· Responsible for managing content calendar and tracking stakeholders’ requests.
· Generate creative ideas that can translate into features for all platforms and be monetized.
· Generate video (interviews, b-roll, and features) and photography for content creation.
· Ensure consistency in brand message related to content creation under the supervision of the SR Director of Marketing
· Edits video with graphics for content creation.
· Provides video as requested to MLSSoccer.com, other MLS teams, and media via FTP.
· Manage reports and analytics as directed.
· Manage and maintain equipment for department.
· Writing and editing features as directed.
· Ability to work in a deadline focused environment.
· Archive and store information as directed.
· Work cooperatively with team members, across departments, within KSE and with external clients.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
· Strong knowledge of MLS and a comprehensive knowledge of the Colorado Rapids and KSE.
· Strong written and verbal communications skills.
· Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask.
· Familiar with a variety of the industry’s concepts, best practices, and procedures.
· Must understand web analytics and traffic patterns.
· Must have intermediate level skills in utilizing Microsoft Office and a strong competency in editing and graphic design software.
· Ability to work as part of a team in a multi-media environment.
· Ability to work well with others including senior management.
· Self-motivated, positive and collaborative attitude.
· Fluency in Microsoft Office, Mac/?PC software, and web/?new media technology.? Competency with Photoshop, Flash, HTML (other).
