JOB OVERVIEW

This position will provide a great opportunity to learn about the behind-the-scenes logistics and the various positions it takes to produce a high-quality broadcast product on-air. As a member of the Production Operations Department, this position is catered to those in the industry who like a hands-on and behind-the-scenes approach to broadcast production.  Having a positive attitude, good communication skills and the desire to learn are intrinsic base needs of this position.  Good people and computer skills are extremely important as well. Please note that this position is not structured for those that wish to be on-air talent.

 

MINIMUM RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Operate the Virtual Graphics System for all NHL Home games.

·         Assist Remote Production Coordinator at remote events.

·         Fill in for the Remote Production Coordinator by being the liaison between the Freelance Crew, Building Facilities, and Operations Manager at remote productions as needed.

·         Create Production Event Tech Sheets for various live events.

·         Assist Studio Crew by running studio camera and potentially the scorebug box as needed.

·         Act as production assistant on shoots at various locations at the Pepsi Center, Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, Dove Valley and various golf courses around Denver metro area.

·         Keep an updated inventory list of all gear within the department.

·         Log game highlight adding metadata via our logging system software that is stored on our archive.

TICKET OPERATIONS MANAGER

GENERAL PURPOSE

Oversees all aspects of ticket sales and box office management at all Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (“KSE”) venues located in Denver, Colorado including Pepsi Center, Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, 1stBank Center and Paramount Theatre (the “KSE Venues”).


MINIMUM POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and assist with the event build, maintenance, management, and Box Office settlement.
  • Manage day-to-day operational needs of the Box Office; including scheduling of window sales staff and delegating daily tasks amongst other management staff.
  • Oversee the support of all KSE sports team ticket operations including the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rapids and Colorado Mammoth.
  • Oversee the support of all other ticketed events taking place at KSE Venues including, but not limited to, concerts, family shows, religious events, college sports, etc.
  • Acts as the liaison between promoting entities, ticket service providers and KSE management, ensuring that accurate information is disseminated and events go on sale as intended for concerts and non-team events at the Pepsi Center, 1st Bank Center, Paramount Theatre and Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments (Finance, Sales and Service, Operations, and others) on best practices and policies.
  • Directs the creation of concerts and non-team events using the Altitude Tickets ticketing system and the administration of all holds, seat kills, processing of internal/VIP ticket requests, house ticket requests, promoter ticket requests, band ticket requests, etc. 
  • Supervises the daily activities of the part-time ticket sellers during events and trains and schedules all event ticket sales and will call staff.
  • Prepares ticket window stations prior to box office opening for events to include logging into computers, providing adequate change for cash drawers, making changes to signage, etc.
  • Supervises the reconciliation of window sales receipts, prepares ticket window expense reports and attendance drop counts at the conclusion of each event.
  • Represent the department at meetings as determined by the Director, Event Ticket Operations.
  • Coordinates with the premium services department to ensure that suites, club seats and suite relocate tickets are evaluated for each event and processed in a timely manner. 
  • Provides settlement documentation (including event sales audit, complimentary ticket recap report, receivables report, and scanned ticket count) to the KSE accounting department at the conclusion of the event to ensure quick and accurate event settlement. 
  • Review and perform balancing, depositing and reporting of daily ticket office receipts, as required.
  • Creates and distribute sales reports to promoters on an as-needed basis.
  • Event management duties (approximately 50 events annually).
  • Resolves customer service issues, processes mail orders for events and facilitates seat relocates as needed.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
  • Two years’ experience in computerized box office management.
  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred. 
  • Detailed knowledge of computerized ticket sales and box office operations (Veritix experience preferred).
  • Significant compatible ticket office operations experience.

ACCESS CONTROL SPECIALIST, ALTITUDE TICKETS

GENERAL PURPOSE

This on call position will provide onsite technical support to venue management of KSE, ensuring that the access control solution works as intended for select games, concerts, and events.


MINIMUM POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare access control equipment for distribution to door staff prior to doors open, by: (1) making sure that Zebra printers are powered up with adequately charged batteries (replace batteries at this time as necessary) and (2) syncing up and pairing the Zebra printers with the appropriate scanning device (either iPod or MC55 depending upon facility) for distribution to door staff.
  • Trouble shoot any technical issues encountered during the event related to the access control solution, and resolve the issues as appropriate, such as rebooting scanners and reconnecting Bluetooth.  
  • Assist door staff with any general questions or issues related to the access control solution.
  • Log all issues encountered during the event with specificity (i.e., scanner #22 had to be rebooted on two separate occasions; scanner 14 lost Bluetooth connectivity), so that we can better identify any particular units that may be more troublesome than others. (Note: this should include operator errors as well so that we can differentiate between hardware and training issues). 
  • Return hardware to the storage closet at event redeployment time, putting scanner units back on their charger racks and printers back as appropriate. 
  • Provide a written summary report for KSE management outlining any hardware and/or operator errors that should occurred during the given event. 
  • Attend solution training from Altitude Tickets and provide training to door staff as necessary.
  • Provide additional seat locator stock to door staff as needed.
  • Obtain general knowledge of the Flash Seats Help Desk.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school degree or GED required.
  • Previous experience in ticket operations preferred.

GENERAL PURPOSE

Plans and ensures safe environment during events for all KSE venues, patrons and venue employees. Responds to and manages incidents related to safety, health and wellbeing of staff and patrons. Advises and collaborates with venue management regarding safety of events.


MINIMUM POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Advises event operations regarding safe practices and procedures for events at all KSE venues.
  • Inspects venues for existing or potential hazards; determines corrective/preventative action; follows up to ensure staff and patron safety.
  • Responds to a variety of incidents including, but not limited to, illness, injury, violence, safety hazards, etc.; obtains and documents incident statements and other information from individuals; writes detailed incident reports; enters report data into computer database program.
  • Coordinates the activities of event safety staff and incident response team by working closely with emergency response partners to include police, fire and medical personnel and oversees event staff that directly reports to Event Safety Manager.  
  • Supervises the work of event safety staff including report writers and command center during events.

MINIMUM POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

·         Represents the Colorado Rapids, Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, and their respective partners and sponsors as the brand ambassadors at events in the community year-round.

·         Responsible for club’s lead capture efforts including collection, distribution, and database maintenance.

·         Must be an expert at engaging consumers by developing a rapport in a short time through natural dialogue.

·         Market the Colorado Rapids coordinating partners to potential customers during each event throughout Denver and surrounding communities.
