MANAGER, REVENUE ACCOUNTING

MINIMUM POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Works with Corporate Sponsorship to get contracts and billing instructions for teams and venues. Maintains Stone Timber and Wide Orbit software systems ensuring accuracy of contract data. Coordinates with Sponsorship to prepare ad hoc reports requested by the NBA and NHL.
· Processes all accounts receivable invoices and prepares for mailing, ensuring proper support documentation accompanies the invoice. Assigns proper code to invoices and enters data into GP software.
· Prepares month-end aging reports. Distributes aging to stake holders. Assists in monitoring past due balances and keeps management informed of past due balances.
· Bills suite invoices; monitors aging and collections.
· Works with Team Box Office staff and Team Ticket Sales staff to monitor season ticket account information. Maintains aging and monitors collections.
· Assists Treasury in cash flow projections based on the sponsorship, box office and suite billings and their respective aging.
· Prints reports for revenue recognition at month end. Assists with NBA and NHL audits of sponsorship revenue. Assists with year-end GAAP audits.
· Assists with month-end processes to include, but not limited to, allocating AR balances, reconciling general ledger accounts, and preparing general ledger journal entries.
· Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
 
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
· Ability to provide quality customer service.
· Basic proficiency in accounting software.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft software.
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
· CPA preferred.
· Two to four years’ experience.

OVERVIEW:
The Colorado Avalanche is seeking a group of energetic and outgoing girls in top physical condition to be members of the new Avalanche Ice Girls Team. If you enjoy hockey, love to ice skate, and would be excited to promote and represent the Colorado Avalanche brand, then this position may be right for you!
 
The main job function of this team will be to maintain the ice surface at all media timeouts, per National Hockey League Policies, at all Colorado Avalanche home games. Members of this team will also be expected to take part in in-game activities and performances, and also represent the Avalanche organization at outside events, marketing initiatives, and community appearances.
 
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must be able to ice skate
· Must be 18 years of age or older
· Must be a high-school graduate or equivalent
· Flexible Schedule: Must be available for 90% of Colorado Avalanche home games (mostly nights and weekends, some holidays) as well as outside appearances
· Able to serve as a professional representative of the Colorado Avalanche Brand
· Comfortable performing in front of large crowds (The performances will be sanctioned by U.S. Figure Skating)
· Approachable, personable, and energetic
· Teamwork skills required, able to work well with others and keep a positive attitude
· Ability to remain active and on your feet for long periods of time, including: walking up and down stairs, lifting props and promotional materials, in/standing on ice skates, shoveling ice service
· Strong communication skills
· Must be able to take direction from several different supervisors
· Must participate in On-Ice Auditions Saturday, July 13th from 7:00pm-9:00pm at Ice Ranch Arena in Littleton, CO
· Hockey Knowledge a plus
· Brand Ambassador/Promotional Team/Modeling/Cheerleading/Dance Team/Hosting Experience a plus

MINIMUM POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Sells Colorado Mammoth tickets, encompassing Season Tickets, Group Tickets, and other ticket packages.
· Meets defined sales goals.
· Prospects, networks, sets appointments, and aggressively sells all available ticket packages.
· Develops and executes group ticket sales promotions.
· Designs creative programs that increase ticket sales and revenue.
· Maintains and services all new and renewal accounts.
· Establishes business relationships with existing clients and prospects.
· Represents and actively promotes team at special events, including Mammoth home games, select Pepsi Center events, and other off-site events. (Minimum of 40 events per year)
· Makes 80-100 calls to new prospects on a daily basis.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
· One year experience in sales and customer service.
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Ability to handle a high level of sales volume.
· Considerable knowledge of basic sales techniques.
· Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid Colorado driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.
· Ability to travel within 150 miles of Denver Metro area.
· Ability to travel to daytime appointments away from facility three (3) or more days a week.
· Effective verbal and written communication and strong organizational skills.
· Must be a team player, willing to contribute to the benefit of the entire team.
· Ability to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
 
PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
· Experience in sports property sales.
· Experience in group ticket sales.
· Familiarity with the Colorado Mammoth and the National Lacrosse League.
