OVERVIEW:
The Guest Relations Internship teaches students about the planning, execution, and implementation of guest services at Pepsi Center and Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. Interns will participate in the day-to-day operations of the Guest Relations department, assist with various departmental game and event night responsibilities and initiatives, and learn how to effectively manage and train guest services staff. The ideal intern should have strong communication skills, possess a desire to learn about conflict resolution and event management, and be available some nights and weekends.

MINIMUM RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist with Guest Relations Training.
· Produce monthly staff newsletter.
· Shadow Manager on Duty during events including Guest Relations and other Arena Operations departments.
· Assist with office duties to include checking voicemails, updating weekly call time recordings, entering feedback forms, compiling and mailing guest fan packs, and responding to guest emails.
· Conduct research and create presentations for proposed program initiatives.
· Assist with planning and organization of KSE STARS Committee Parties.
· Compile KSE STARS Employee of the Month packets and update Employee of the Month board.
· Attend weekly Arena Operations and Event meetings.
· Manage a sporting event including preparation of pre-event materials, assigning staff positions, taking calls and being point of contact during event, and preparing post event budget.
· Other duties and projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word Processing, Excel, Outlook and
Publisher

MINIMUM POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
· New group ticket sales for the Colorado Rapids.
· Prospects, networks, set appointments, and aggressively sells group ticket packages.
· Develops and executes group ticket sales promotions and events.
· Handles a high level of sales activity, including minimum 300 cold calls per week and 2-3 sales appointments per day.

The Inside Sales Representative position focuses on selling season tickets, mini-plans, various ticket packages, and group tickets for the Colorado Avalanche. EVS Operator

EVS Operator – Build and edit packages and playlist on the EVS for various broadcasts.  Records satellite, fiber, and studio feeds

  • Monitors content load to make sure clips, etc. are ready for playback or editing as needed
