This position requires a highly motivated individual to lead, coach and contribute, to the overall ticket sales effort for the Colorado Avalanche. This is a management level position which encompasses a collaborative departmental management of day-to-day productivity from account executives.  POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for a variety of accounting functions for three vineyard properties and two wineries.  Under the guidance and supervision of the Vineyard Controller, the primary role of the Senior Accountant will focus on timely and accurate monthly close, preparation of financial statements, inventory and financial analysis, as well as various other projects.

 

MINIMUM POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take responsibility for reviewing, preparing, and posting transactions to the general ledger for five different sets of books.
  • Maintain ownership of accurate and timely account reconciliations.
  • Prepare well-organized, concise, and well-documented work papers.
  • Ensure sales data is imported correctly by reviewing monthly import files.
  • Process wine orders when necessary.
  • Generate invoices for sales of fixed assets.
  • Manage the collection of cash on various contracts with varying contract terms.
  • Assist in financial reporting.
  • Apply cash receipts from customers and consistently review delinquent accounts.
  • Perform physical inventory counts and reconcile those counts to various other sources.
  • Assist the Controller on various projects as necessary.
