POSITION OVERVIEW
The Sports Analyst is responsible for executing statistical analyses and modeling across football, hockey, soccer and basketball. This person will assist in the creation and maintenance of statistical models, data models, tools, reports, and reference documents to support the on-going analytics needs of the scouting, coaching & management staff as well as the procurement, storage, analysis, and presentation of sports-related data, both independently and under the direction of senior analytics staff. This position will support the team’s analytical capabilities with an innovative, enthusiastic, and process-driven approach. Reliability and flexibility are key traits needed for this position.

MINIMUM POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Daily application of analytical skills, including an understanding of how to interpret sport-team needs and translate them into statistical analyses.
• Perform ad hoc data mining on large volumes of sports-related data as requests arise, via SQL or from data APIs using Excel and other statistical tools, under the direction of senior analytics staff
• Daily and periodic cleaning, maintenance, updating, and management of team statistical databases, including but not limited to:
          o Professional and amateur sports statistics for football, soccer, hockey and basketball
          o Player personnel databases
• Daily application and evaluation of advanced statistics across multiple sports, and knowledge of common statistical resources, both public and proprietary. This includes the daily execution of moderate-to-advanced statistical modeling and programming.
• Execution of basic-to-moderate SQL programming several times per week.
• Daily work in Microsoft Office applications: Excel (including Pivot Tables), Word, Powerpoint.
• Execution of basic-to-moderate development within Tableau, an analytics visualization package.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree from accredited university in Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Finance, Operations Research, Actuarial Sciences, Information Technology, or related field.

• 2+ years’ experience working with a statistics-oriented programming language such as R, Python, SAS, SPSS, Matlab. This experience should include 2+ years’ experience implementing advanced statistical analysis techniques (e.g., regression/modeling, hypothesis testing, categorical data analysis, Monte Carlo simulation, etc.).
• A moderate-to-advanced understanding of database design and data collection.
• Demonstrated moderate-to-advanced knowledge, skill, and expertise in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables). Demonstrated moderate knowledge, skill, and expertise in other Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills, with a robust attention to detail, in regards both to checking and working with data, as well as visual presentation of deliverables and reports.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Benefits Specialist will assist with the administration and maintenance of the Company’s benefit plans.  This position will serve as a resource to all employees regarding benefits and will maintain all employee benefits and administrative files.   


MINIMUM RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Administers various employee benefits programs, including, but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life, accident and disability programs, flexible spending account programs, and Employee Assistance Program.
  • Maintains 401(k) files, including reports and plan history.  
  • Assists with the administration of KSE leave programs, including FMLA. 
  • Assists with worker’s compensation claims program; filing First Report of Injury, sending updates to managers and answering employee questions.
  • Maintains OSHA logs for company entities in accordance with OSHA regulations and compliance.
  • Assists employees in the preparation of enrollment applications, the completion of other employee benefits materials and notifies employees of related enrollment deadlines.  
  • Inputs benefits data into HRIS and related software applications.

  • Verifies the calculation of the monthly billing/premium statements for all group employee benefits programs.

GENERAL PURPOSE

This on call position will provide onsite technical support to venue management of KSE, ensuring that the access control solution works as intended for select games, concerts, and events.


MINIMUM POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare access control equipment for distribution to door staff prior to doors open, by: (1) making sure that Zebra printers are powered up with adequately charged batteries (replace batteries at this time as necessary) and (2) syncing up and pairing the Zebra printers with the appropriate scanning device (either iPod or MC55 depending upon facility) for distribution to door staff.
  • Trouble shoot any technical issues encountered during the event related to the access control solution, and resolve the issues as appropriate, such as rebooting scanners and reconnecting Bluetooth.  
  • Assist door staff with any general questions or issues related to the access control solution.
  • Log all issues encountered during the event with specificity (i.e., scanner #22 had to be rebooted on two separate occasions; scanner 14 lost Bluetooth connectivity), so that we can better identify any particular units that may be more troublesome than others. (Note: this should include operator errors as well so that we can differentiate between hardware and training issues). 
  • Return hardware to the storage closet at event redeployment time, putting scanner units back on their charger racks and printers back as appropriate. 
  • Provide a written summary report for KSE management outlining any hardware and/or operator errors that should occurred during the given event. 
  • Attend solution training from Altitude Tickets and provide training to door staff as necessary.
  • Provide additional seat locator stock to door staff as needed.

MINIMUM RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Develops reports from the human resources information system to assist media managers with information on various issues, i.e., employee turn-over rates, suggested starting salary ranges, etc.

·         Creates and maintains job descriptions for full time Outdoor Sportsman Group; Completes job analysis and compensation analysis.

POSITION PURPOSE:

 

The Colorado Rapids Street Team member is part of a unique fleet of charismatic, knowledgeable, entrepreneurial, and dynamic individuals. These members are excited to share their passion for the Colorado Rapids with current and future Rapids fans. The most important part of the Street Team’s job is to promote the Colorado Rapids and offer a memorable fan experience.  Essentially, Street Team is the face of the Colorado Rapids.

 

 

MINIMUM POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

·         Represents the Colorado Rapids, Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, and their respective partners and sponsors as the brand ambassadors at events in the community year-round.

·         Responsible for club’s lead capture efforts including collection, distribution, and database maintenance.

·         Must be an expert at engaging consumers by developing a rapport in a short time through natural dialogue.

·         Market the Colorado Rapids coordinating partners to potential customers during each event throughout Denver and surrounding communities.

·         Creating and updating database for all leads collected during events.

·         The Street Team will be responsible for many game day servicing duties including; greeting clients as they enter Dicks Sporting Goods Park, assisting sponsorship department with various elements of activation, and assisting the marketing department in pre-game and halftime activities

·         Execute grassroots marketing promotions throughout the Denver area such as youth soccer tournaments, community events, festivals, parades, concerts, away game viewing parties, etc.

·         Sets-up, takes-down and transports the various elements of the Colorado Rapids Soccer Tour (truck, inflatables, prize wheel, tables, speakers, etc) at area events.

·         Performs occasional mascot duties at Rapids home games and other Street Team events.

 

 

 

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

 

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Charismatic and outgoing personality

·         Required team oriented individuals who work well under pressure, have a positive attitude, are self-starters, and carry themselves with a high level of pride and professionalism.

·         Passion for soccer and the Colorado Rapids

·         Must have access to internet

·         Available for 2-4 events a week

·         Must be available to attend and actively participate in 1-2 team meetings per month

GENERAL PURPOSE

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

·         High school diploma or GED.

·         One to two years security operations, preferably in a large arena or sports facility.
